In addition, this year we are introducing a new informal session “KNOCKTURN ALLEY” geared to discussion with colleagues.  Pull some ‘Practical Magic’ out of your hat and share your BEST ideas, activities or successes in the area of gifted education during this session!

The Knockturn Alley will be in the form of the rotating table group presentations (we will select an umbrella area of interest for each table).  Information about what you will share insures we have a variety of topics covered and allows us to generate interest (If you like, simple handouts with resources or your ‘sharing’ idea can be brought with you). All contributors will participate in the lottery with a special prize.

Knockturn Alley will be held on Thursday, August 3, from 3:30-5:00 pm.  Anyone is welcome to attend and join in the discussions.  For publicity and ample space to converse and share, we are asking those who plan to attend to save the attendance/submission form to your desktop, fill out the form using MS Word and send it as email attachment to reids@hobbsschools.net or to Sarah Reid, 223 W. Taos, Hobbs, NM 88240 by June 30, 2006.
