The Safe and Drug Free Schools project is funded through Title IV of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act. The focus of this project is to support drug abuse prevention/intervention programs with an emphasis on services to combat alcohol, drug, tobacco, gang activity and violence. This project also funds professional development of school personnel, parents, students, law enforcement officials, judicial officials, health service providers and community leaders in prevention, education and intervention, pupil service or rehabilitation referral.
