Overview

The SWREC provides data entry and processing of Medicaid billing for District 10.  Medicaid billing comprises two units consisting of Direct Service Logs and Administrative Time Studies.  District 10 includes Animas, Hatch, Lordsburg, Reserve and T or C for recipients under 21 years of age.

Direct Service Logs

Direct Service Logs cover the billing of ancillary services such as occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, counseling, transportation and nursing services as directed by the student's IEP.  To help expedite these billings, each member district is required to:

·   submit completed IEP Medicaid Consent Forms along with the cover page, related service page and signature page from the IEP.

·   submit service logs to the Medicaid Data Clerk at the SWREC on or before the 10^th of each month.

·   keep provider licenses up to date and furnish a current copy to the SWREC.

Administrative Time Studies

Administrative Time Studies are given out to participants quarterly and take only a moment to complete and return to the SWREC.  Some are chosen to participate more than once in a quarter while others not at all.  If a red envelope, "Random Moment Sample", is received, please:

·   be conscience of the selected date and time of your random moment.

·   complete all questions.

·   return questionnaire to the SWREC promptly at the end of the moment sampling.
