· October 21, 2004 - Gruen Von Behrens spoke to students in T or C and Hatch on the consequences of using chewing tobacco. This young man has lost a portion of his tongue and his jaw to cancer from using chewing tobacco. His message was poignant and well received by the students.
· November 16, 2004 - Jacqueline Fryar of Reserve Schools and Laura Filosa-McDonald were trained as adult facilitators for Teens Against Tobacco Use (TATU)
· January 29, 2005 - A Teens Against Tobacco Use (TATU) training for students was held at T or C Middle School.
